The scene of international cooperation is changing very rapidly, as a result of the neoliberal unifying advance. In view of that situation, the social organisations that defend a progressive solidarity that respects the social processes in the South must also modify our strategies of intervention.
Working in a network, together with other NGOs and social movements from Europe and Southern countries, is one of Mundubat's top priorities:
We are active members of the NGO Coordinating Committees of the Spanish State (www.congde.org), the Basque Autonomous Community (www.ongdseuskadi.org), the Autonomous Community of Navarre (www.congdnavarra.org), and the Community of Madrid (www.fongdcam.org); these are places for joining forces, for debate, for negotiations with donor agencies.
Together with NGOs from Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Greece, France and Spain, Mundubat is a member of Grupo Sur, which aims to support the processes of social, political and economic transformation taking place in Latin America.
We are members of Plataforma 2015 y más, a coalition of progressive NGOs from Spain committed to the achievement of the world development objectives for the year 2015, which were ratified at the Millennium Summit by the United Nations.
