The Mission

Mundubat is a NGOD made up of men and women from various social realities committed to a change in the world order. We are united by:

A personal feeling of solidarity and the belief that the structural poverty of the majorities is a violation of Human Rights; and the idea of solidarity based on the extension and the enjoyment of all the rights for all the people from gender equity. 

We work together with popular communities and organisations which demand social and economic rights and alternatives and promote participative democracy.

Our cooperation is at the service of the popular organisations themselves to support socio-political processes of social transformation through programmes and projects concerning the participative endogenous development of popular economies and citizen involvement.

We encourage a critical approach of the people in our society and in the public and private institutions and we support each other and promote work in international networks and alliances.

And we have efficiency as a resource management principle and continuous improvement as a tool to achieve quality in our work.

 

The Vision

To be a NGOD which brings together wills and resources in order to strengthen a large network of social movements and which plays a shared (“subordinate”) role by joining synergies among social organisations, communities, local administrations, states and international NGODs.

To be a NGOD which remains faithful to its ideology, capacities and external sovereignty by means of: diversification of the economic resources; the tools and instruments of work in cooperation; an increase in its social base; and excellence in quality management. To be a reference NGOD on gender policy in our environment.
