Support of the economic independence of the poorest sectors of the country. It is important to guarantee their economic sustainability: firstly, this will ensure the continuity of the transference actions to the peasants of the communities where we work, and secondly, it will reinforce their capacity to offer their services to sectors that can allow those costs.

 

Promotion of local markets. We strengthen institutions as executors of credit components and the transference of farming and management technologies.

 

Promotion of community organisation. We carry out initiatives in the areas of education and culture. We promote the development of the rural population and poor urban population, by means of strengthening their organisational and management capacities.

 

Improvement of citizens' participation processes at a local level. We encourage citizens from municipalities to participate; we offer Technical Cooperation to the Town Councils, strengthening Local Powers; we promote citizens' participation by informing them of the participation rules and possibilities established by the current system, through reinforcing their organised authorities and promoting educational and cultural initiatives.

 

Fight against the subordination of women in the different spheres where they participate, from the perspective of Gender in Development. We aim to turn this perspective into an institutional sign of identity. In addition, we promote positive discrimination, or at least pay particular attention to women in organisational, educational and production processes.
